Technology Committee
The Student Affairs Technology Committee reviews and provides guidance on matters relating to technology and innovation of importance to the Division, including but not limited to assessing:
- Significant emerging technology issues and trends that may affect the Division, its business and strategic direction;
- Strengths and competitiveness of the Division’s technical processes and disciplines, including the effectiveness of its technological efforts and investments in developing new products;
- Division’s technology planning processes to support divisional objectives;
- Division’s focus on developing critical technologies and replacement planning;
- Division’s approach to technical innovation;
- Division’s technology acquisition and decision making process to assure on-going growth;
- Measurement and tracking systems important to successful innovation and technology development.
The Technology Committee will:
- Make regular reports and/or present recommendations to the Vice President’s Council.
- Review and provide guidance with respect to future trends in technology that may affect the Division’s strategic plans, including monitoring of overall industry trends.
