Rebel Achievement Awards

The Rebel Achievement Awards is a recognition ceremony created to celebrate the contributions of students within the Division of Student Life.
All students and student sponsored groups and programs are eligible to be recognized at the annual Rebel Achievement Awards. The goal is to honor the exemplary work of the UNLV student population as a whole. Every student who is nominated will receive an invitation and be recognized at the ceremony.
THE DIVISION OF STUDENT LIFE
The Division of Student Life provides quality services and programs that create educational opportunities, foster collegiate success, enhance continuous learning, and promote a just and inclusive campus. Working in partnership with the university and surrounding communities, Student Life is a student-centered division that strives to establish a secure learning environment that is diverse, dynamic and service-oriented.
THE 2008 AWARDS CEREMONY
This awards ceremony encompasses all student
volunteers and workers within each of the departments in the
Division of Student Life. The Rebel Achievement Awards will
take place on Tuesday, April 29th, 2008 at 4 p.m. in the Student
Union Ballroom, Room 208. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
NOMINATION PROCESS
All faculty, staff and students at UNLV may submit nominations. Individual and groups are encouraged to nominate themselves. Individual Awards and Programming Awards are open to any individual and/or program meeting the requirements as outlined in the Awards Packet.

The Rebel Achievement Awards Committee is proud to offer the online submission of the nomination forms. Please refer to the specific criteria listed below for your reference.
Nomination Form
Nominations must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008. Nominiation submissions are limited to 500 words.

Hall of Fame Form
Use this form if you are a student with four or more years of service in the Division of Student Life (work in or involved with Student Life department or program) to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame forms must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, April 4, 2008.

Student Service Listing Form
Use this form to submit your list of student workers and student leaders/volunteers within your department for recognition at the ceremony. The list should be submitted no later than 5pm on Friday, April 4, 2008.

These resources are provided by the committee in an attempt to provide support to those interested in submitting a nomination. Information sessions will be offered at Division of Student Life Cluster meetings as well as student organization meetings to assist with nominations.
