Professional Background/History:
After graduating from college in Illinois and receiving my RN license, I worked in medical/surgical nursing in the hospital setting while living in Santa Maria, California. After several years, I decided to attend graduate school to increase my knowledge and broaden my nursing experience. After completing my graduate work and becoming a clinical nurse specialist and a family nurse practitioner, I worked for a medical practice in Pismo Beach, California before moving to the Las Vegas area and beginning my work here at the Student Health Center in 2000.

Professional Interest/Areas of Specialty:
I enjoy all areas of Family Practice and especially like helping patients with Women’s Health (pap smears, contraception) and Mental Health (depression) issues.
