Parental Consent for Minors
Information will not be released to anyone (including faculty, staff,
or parents) without the written consent of the student except as provided
by Nevada law or in the case of life threatening emergency.
Students under the age of 18 are minors by Nevada law and must have
a signed parental consent on file at the Student Health
Center to receive medical care. These forms are available at the Student
Health Center upon request.
Per NRS 442.255 and NRS 129.060. Exceptions to parental consent are
made for family planning, screening for sexually transmitted diseases,
and for substance abuse.
