Whether you're hosting a conference, meeting, or special event, Student Life Scheduling and Conferences provides a full range of event coordination and planning services to make your event a success. Our services include:
Event Coordination
We strive to provide you with the highest level of service. A conference and event coordinator will ensure your conference, meeting, or event is a success from start to finish.
Room Reservation
Call one of our reservationists to book a room in the Student Union, schedule extracurricular activities in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, host a concert outside, or stay on campus during a summer conference.
Equipment and AV
We offer a variety of technical equipment and services, and we can even set up your presentation.
Catering & Menu Selection
Work with UNLV Catering to make food and beverage orders, request banquet service, and arrange setup and breakdown times.
Event Safety and Security
Safety is always a priority. If the nature of your event requires, our office will assist you in making arrangements with Public Safety to have police officers and student security personnel present at your event.
Parking and Shuttle Service
We can help meet your parking needs, from parking passes to closing off a lot for a big event.
Outdoor Event Management
We'll arrange electrical power, sprinkler system modifications, and additional disposal receptacles so that your outdoor event goes off without a hitch.
Overnight Accommodations for Conference Guests
Conference Housing offers overnight accommodations for conference guests during the summer months. If you're participating in sports camps, academic groups, religious associations, or band camps, this service is just for you.
Intern Housing
Conference Housing offers a limited number of beds for individuals who have been selected for internships in Las Vegas. Housing is available between mid-May and mid-August and is open to all individuals who have verifiable employment with a local Las Vegas business or organization.
