About Re-entry Services (RES)
|
Students who take the plunge and decide to pursue their education following a break in their enrollment may experience unique concerns. Our goal is to help you get back into college and stay in college until all your educational goals are met. We provide information that will guide you as you make the choice to return to school. Areas in which we offer assistance include:
- Admissions process
- Understanding financial aid
- Connecting with peers
- Referrals to other campus services
We offer opportunities to meet one-on-one with our Re-Entry staff by appointment or on a walk-in basis. Either way, we look forward to meeting with you and helping you to achieve your educational and personal goals.
Have an idea on a possible workshop, seminar or team-building exercise and believe other students could benefit as well? Let us know at the Jean Nidetch Women's Center and we will attempt to bring it fruition. Previous offerings have included sunrise session, a chance to visit and eat before classes start; evening presentations from financial aid and career services; tutoring drawing for students who attend a JNWC event.
For assistance in returning to college, contact Charlotte McLeod at (702) 895-0605 or email at charlotte.mcleod@unlv.edu.
