Relief is on the way!

Nearly 325 spaces will open back up after construction is completed. There are plans for new parking structures in the future, too.

Until then, please plan ahead.

Parking is reduced in lots east of the Thomas & Mack Center for construction of the Student Recreation Center.

These changes will affect parking for visitors, faculty/staff, and students, including campus residents and handicapped placard holders. Shuttle service is available.

Here are some parking tips:

• Know before you go: Check parking and shuttle route maps before you leave home.
• Arrive early: Plan to arrive well before class time, particularly during the first weeks of school when campus parking lots will be most crowded.
• Park smart: The greatest number of available parking spots will be in the Thomas & Mack Center lots and the north parking garage. Your best bet during busy times will be to proceed directly to these areas. Park near shuttle stops and catch "The Ride" through campus.
• Be patient: There are enough parking spaces to accommodate the needs of all on campus. Patience and cooperation are appreciated as the campus community adjusts to the new parking scheme.
