| New places for students, by students. In 2003, students and the Board of Regents approved a new student fee to pay for a new Student Union and Student Recreation Center. These fees started in Spring 2004 and will gradually increase through Spring 2007. Here’s the breakdown:
*The per credit fee is for no more than three credits each summer session. There are three sessions each summer semester. What your money pays for. Once the Student Recreation Center opens, be sure to register for more than three credits. That way you can relax and enjoy the facility at no additional charge. If you’re enrolled in fewer than three credits, you’ll have to pay a membership fee each semester. Graduating? Leaving UNLV? Since you’ve contributed to the new buildings, you’re entitled to
a free pass to use the facility for the same number of semesters in which you paid student fees. For example, if you paid the fees for four semesters, you’re entitled to four semesters worth of free access. |
